The July member's competition will be Billfish. Billfish comp details & rules: Saturday, 20 July with lines in from 0600hrs and video/photo submission at the clubrooms between 4-5pm. Presentation will be shortly after. All Marlin & Sailfish are to be free released, no billfish to be brought to the clubrooms. Please avoid lifting any fish out of the water. Clear photo/video evidence of any sailfish or billfish caught for points to be awarded. Fish to be no further than 3m away from the boat, fish can be held in water by the bill or the leader. Only monofilament nylon is to be used for leader and trace. Dacron wind on leaders will be acceptable. NO WIRE to be used at all. Eligible species & points: Sailfish- 500pts, Marlin- 1000pts. All size fish count. Billfish winner will be highest points scored. BBQ & refreshments will also be available.
